We work with the top surgeons and consultants in the local area. We maintain communication with the consultants throughout your recovery, which keeps you on track to recover as quickly as possible.

We are all Qualified Chartered Physiotherapists , HCPC registered and we are all members of the Chartered Society Physiotherapy. Together we have a wide range of experience and expertise in all areas of physiotherapy.

Nick Hodgson MCSP (Senior Physiotherapist)

Nick Graduated in 1986 from Manchester Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy, and worked in the NHS Ashton and Oldham whilst working for Saddleworth Rangers and then Oldham Rugby League club where he met Alan Bonelle the founder of this practice. Nick joined this clinic part time in 1989 and took over with Steve Hardman in 2000 when Alan retired.

Now sole owner, since Steve retired in 2022, Nick continues to promote hands on physiotherapy with the goal to provide the best care and fastest recovery for all our patients.

Rachel started work with the clinic in 2005 as the receptionist at our Lees Clinic, and when it closed moved to Ashton in 2015 as Practice Manager.

Overseeing the day to day running of the clinic, working closely with our Main receptionist Jane, Rachel prides herself with always making patients feel welcome and putting them at ease.

Jane joined the clinic in 2015 after years of running Eden Florist in Saddleworth.

Looking for a change of profession Jane has brought her many years of experience and expertise with dealing with the public to the clinic – always making time for the patients and ensuring the smooth, daily running of the clinic. Jane is always happy to answer any queries patients may have.

James Pollen
(Physiotherapist MSc MCSP)

James Joined the clinic in 2022 after having completed his Physiotherapy Masters at Sheffield Hallam University. Before that James has worked in the NHS in Oxford in; Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy Research, and Amputee Rehabilitation, before that he worked in Neurological rehabilitation for Acquired Brain Injury.

With an interest in promoting Mental Health and physical fitness,
James is linking the clinic up with local organisations around the clinic to facilitate better access to health, fitness and mental wellbeing

Lauren Johnson
(MSc MSCP)

Lauren Joined the clinic in 2023 after having completed her Physiotherapy Masters at Sheffield Hallam University.

Before that Lauren has studied Sports Exercise Science at Leeds Becket University.

Lauren has a key interest in improving mobility and reducing pain using manual techniques including massage, manipulation, Cupping and dry needling.
